Professional Memberships
As a Quality Engineer, working in Water and Energy Saving Industry, I am actively participate in life of Quality Professionals Associations in UK and US. I am learning and share my ideas with colleagues from other fields related to QA and QC.
The American Water Works Association is an international, nonprofit, scientific and educational society dedicated to providing total water solutions assuring the effective management of water. Founded in 1881, the Association is the largest organization of water supply professionals in the world.
AWWA also takes great pride in helping establish three preeminent organizations dedicated to safe water, the Water Research Foundation in 1966, Water For People in 1991 and Water Equation in 2015. AWWA unites the diverse water community to advance public health, safety, the economy, the water workforce and the environment.
The International Water Association (IWA) is a self-governing nonprofit organization and knowledge hub for the water sector, connecting water professionals and companies to find solutions to the world's water challenges. The aim of the IWA is to function as an international network for water experts and promote standards and optimal approaches in sustainable water management. IWA has a membership comprising technology companies, water and wastewater utilities, and wider stakeholders in the fields of water services, infrastructure engineering and consulting as well as more than 10,000 individuals including scientists and researchers, with governing members in approximately 80 countries.
The Chartered Quality Institute (CQI) is the chartered body for quality professionals. It improves the performance of organisations by developing their capability in quality management. As a registered charity, the CQI exists to advance education in, knowledge of and the practice of quality in the industry, the public sector and the voluntary sectors. The CQI also owns the International Register of Certificated Auditors, the world's first and largest international certification body for auditors of management systems. IRCA certifies some 10,000 auditors in over 150 countries worldwide.
It is a contributor to policy issues at a national and international level.
